Last Night
Warm summer nights Someone get the vodka Let’s drink and sing and let each other in Let’s slur and stumble and fall down laughing Let’s take pictures that we look horrible in We’ll go driving around, the windows down and music blaring We’ll shout and hug because we’re young and soft We’ll do these things before we get too scared Back to the house Whisper don’t wake them Jump in the pool No clothes no walls The sun’s coming up and it’s clean up time Wash the cups stash the bottle We’re so tired and so young We love how we can’t feel our chains We collapse on our beds Tomorrow it will be really funny We’ll say, Oh, the memories made last night
