Last Thoughts

Reckless driving and thoughtless drinking Along with failed attempts at thinking Make my answers hard to find. Riding along, my heart is sinking Till awarness is awoken when lights are blinking Following close behind. In my pursuit of finding reason For pushing out the thoughts of treason The officials are pursuing me. And in this icy winter season I crack the window to let a breeze in. The road becomes hard to see. I pull a gun out from my pocket. I load the clip and slowly cock it. I aim it at my head. One hand on the wheel, I clumsily drop it. My car is offroad but I will not stop it . I only wish to be dead. I quickly reach below the seat Directly behind my trembling feet To take another shot. The fog grows thicker among the trees. In order to make it easier to see, I'm ending my last thoughts.
