Laughing Butterfly

·Missy

Butterfly, flutter by As changing as the weather Yet as constant as the sun From flower to flower You fly In the sticky heat Like the nectar you suck up And roll over your tongue Splashes of colour Land like droplets of water On your eyelashes Do you smile, butterfly As you fly above us all Do you laugh As you tease us With your freedom We're forever chasing you But you're always one step ahead Aren't you, laughing butterfly
