Left Field..
Out in left field the little girl stands The pressure of catching the ball meets its demands Out in left field Is where she stood Hoping that she could catch it, Praying that she would The ball slams into the air As the crowd cheers now she stands to face oneof her biggest fears Knees a shakin, her teeth begin to chatter nothing else in the world seemed to matter ..than catching that ball and it was coming her way If she caught it,it would truly make her day She stretched out her arm and openedher mitt closing her eyes she felt the ball hit You could hear the crowd scream shouting with glee With that ball in glove she washappy ascould be! The girl in left field (I wrote this for my daughter, she was the girl in left field, lol)
