Let this smoke be the last of it, Burning your memory beside my bed, Letter after letter Thought after thought, A love I fought to win over I now release in the glory of its death. Let this fire cleanse it all, Failed instincts turned truths Blatant flaws into secrets, The love I broke down walls for, Killed the hope within Returning bitter winter.
