Let it go

Heart, heart, let it go. Can't you see you, the answer's no. Beating, raging in my chest, can't we put these feelings to rest. Aching, throbbing, wanting more, forbidden love, an endless war. Fighting, struggling, inside of me, to keep these desires from becoming free. Everything lost, nothing gained, who will free me from the unseen pain? Dying, crying, endless nights, like a sick disease, i'm losing this fight. Forced the face this battle alone, a heart torn in two, a pain to well known. With the happiness of one, comes the despair of another, living a lie, just to spare the pain of the other. So, heart heart please let it go, Don't you understand why the answer is no? I know once again, you're pushed to the side, just try to hold on, try to survive. I know the pain is hard to bare, but heart understand, that life isn't fair. One heart's sacrifice, another's gain. Love unending, all in vain. Sorry heart, but the choice was made, Everything lost, and nothing gained.
