Letter To Mommy
Dear Mommy, Do you have time to play? Not today I hear you say.. I'm off to work to pay the bills, buy the groceries and get perscriptions filled. Hearing those words leave me feeling bereft, you had time for me before daddy left.. You used to stay home and play all day, Daddy was the one who went to work each day.. Was i the reason he got mad? Mommy I didn't mean to make you sad. Did I somehow cause all those fights? I hear the tears hit your pillow each night. I just want things like they were before, you just don't seem to have time for me anymore I'll be good I swear!!!!!!! I won't even argue when you pick out the clothes I wear. I'll clean my room and vacuum my floor If you'll just bring daddy backhomeonce more.. Mommy please just say you love me too, For there's a pain in my heart from being confussed. I don't know what to do or say. Mommy please do you have time to play? Reply Daughter Dearest, I'm so sorry you thought... You were the reason me and daddy fought. Iknow it seems I never have time for play but I have a million things to do since daddy went away. I wish I could change things and make it easier for you. It breaks my heart to see you blue. Please for a second don't ever dare!!! To think somehow mommy doesn't care... I never meant for you to hear us fight or see the tears I cry each night. I know I can't bring daddy home, but we'll be okay on our own. From now on starting today, Mommy will always have time to play.. I love you, Mommy
