Letters in the Moonlight
On moonlight waters I used to read your letters Calm full waters and peaceful ocean breezes I sat outside reading the letters which became your tales Only dreaming of your sweet smile again I was part of your dream A midnight fantasy on wishful waters Your beautiful lips are poison to me A siren seducing me in the dark One night a letter fell into my hands The rain washed away the pain it wrote My heart covered in blood You tried to paint my pain away with false love Still unread, fallen to the ground In rain, words faded with pain “Call my name out, set my love in flame I can’t remember if this was our last day I have woken up from this dream Dying of a innocent crime” Leave me here In rain, words faded with pain Ocean’s my tears My tears my watery grave In this lonely December rain I read your letter one last time Only to wait for you Dying of an innocent love.
