Letting Our Memories Die
Standing in the rain again Lost in memories past Wondering where it all went wrong And why it didn't last Useless feelings, the lot of them They don't make it go away No matter what I say or do You're still gone at the end of the day So I pull up my hood against the rain And walk away for good I wish that I knew the reason why But I know I did all I could I wish I could say so much more to you Than that last word that is "goodbye" I wish wasn't walking alone in the rain Slowly letting our memories die
