LIARS
(c) Troy Jones 2000 When everything falls apart on you, made up is your mind by the things that you do. You can’t keep on saying what you know is not true. Lies were not always a part of you. When everything seems to, "pass you by", you point the finger at someone else. The blame will always linger inside it’s not them who made you cry. When you think about the things you’ve done, you wonder if you can make it better. The truth may hurt, but you’re only young. It’s a painful step, but it can be done. Listen to what your heart has to say, it’s happiness that makes your day. When all the children come out to play you know the sadness has gone away. Look for the child inside yourself, he knows who you are, so don’t be afraid. Let him out, you will find your way, he will lead you there, in your new day. Listen to what he has to say you won’t be true to yourself, nevertheless, that is your mistake. He has the wisdom of an old man, and if he tires, give him a break. Try to understand he doesn’t like liars, it’s not being a man of which he desires.
