Life Blood

·Cellar

The drums swell—do you hear them? Beating melodically, rhythmically, primally. Harsh vibrations burst forth To accost you, to embrace you. Born in the heat of the night air, It is made of passion and fire. The earth moves—do you feel it? Churning beneath your feet. Metal bubbling, rock bending, grass growing. Life sprung forth to hold you Safe in its arms of solice, Its life blood is your own. The sun bursts—do you sense it? Breaking through the torrid darkness, Pulsating with the purest of energy. Soft beams cascade through windows Pressing urgently on eyelids, Drawing out the tangible presence of life.
