LifeGuards on the Shore

Lifeguards on the Shore Sheer beams of light Sent in golden bands To gather the human race To safety. Tall and proud lifeguards standing on sandy rocks. Angels on the shoreline, of the weary on the sea. The Gods of Hades laugh As they throw waves, crashing into the rocky shore. Hoping, they might win a few. IlaMae Stucki © 5/7/2010

I am a Registered Nurse.. I have loved writing for as far back as I can remember. My first writing was experienced by drawing as a child. In 7th grade I wrote a poem about Abraham Lincoln that won an award and was read on the radio in Salt Lake City....
