Like lightning upon a flower the two would meet here Looking up into the faces of those she would one day walk amongst, the little girl with the smile of gold watched the pretty Congresswoman speak, saw the respect she created the power of the applause and she dreamed that one day she could create such magic Only nine but she knew that this is where she would be Innocence and dreams were taken away on that spot in those few seconds by evil manifested in the mind of a sick young man When the shock subsides when the heart is numb when we are left with only her smile we understand who the target was that day Our world is being consumed our faith must return
