Like a child
I have seen it all, lived it all and know it all That was until you Now I am like a child From the beginning I have to learn How to speak, to walk and to touch Some days it is not easy Some days it is the hardest ting fore me But I know that this is the way it should be Like in the eyes of a child, I now learn to see the world With the total believe in the day of tomorrow That the sun will rise and give birth to yet another day A day in which I can play Never to be scared of what lies ahead I look true new eyes, like I have never seen before The beauty that is all around The peace I never found Like in the heart of a child, I learn the feeling of love A thru love, with now hidden meaning Just the purist of all feelings A feeling that can move mountains That can cross the deepest and widest of rivers And that can steel the moon out of the sky Like in the hands of a child, so I learn to touch Soft and tender, like the touch of an angel To cores your skin and not leave a hear out of place To hold your hand like a new born kitten Not to hurt or disturb the rest it finds in my touch Like in the body of a child, so to the love will grow with time Every day just more and more With the right amount of what it needs, it will grow to be strong forever more To rise up from the dust to become a painter, poet or even a song righter With melodies that only birds sing in praise to there mate And now like in the life of a child, all this can only be with you by my side To return the love To hold my hand when I need it To keep me save when all spins out of control To teach me what to do if the time is near To hold me in a time of fear So now like the life of a child is left to his parents I lay my life before you Remember that it is fragile That it is in your hands to shape and bend And not tear and break So shape me well and I will return your love Make you believe in fairytales And make you proud to be the one I love JdB
