Liquid faces
The burning sun of Africa Liquidise the faces, Of the weeping children Neglected by their mothers Abused by their fathers Who gave the children, the liquid faces? It was not raining, but my eyes showed me Rain drops like, liquid Dropping from the children’s faces Suddenly my eyes was filled With the same liquid My vision became blurred, I saw the world in a different way I saw one child, Amazon was blasting banks Of his left eye And Nile flowing tirelessly From her right eye Where was her mother? Who is his father? Somebody do something Stop the bleeding eyes, Of the weeping children Stop child abuse and negligence
