My cat, once a hit man for hire Caught mice with a burning desire, But now that she’s fat Both the mouse and the rat Eat cheese and sing songs by the fire My dog is a singing sensation I detest this beyond moderation He takes pride and delight Howling into the night While I cover my ears in vexation. Quite drowsy, eyes heavy as lead, I heard noises that filled me with dread, My eyes flashing wild, I screamed like a child, Woke up and fell out of my bed I met a cute girl by the bay, She smiled as if wanting to play, I called her “good lookin” And asked her “whats cookin?” “Its burnt!” she said walking away Michael’s death left the world in a trance, As I asked a young girl for a dance, Being plastered on scotch I spun, grabbed my crotch Now I sing lonely blues of romance.
