Longing Wait

Longing Wait We’re waiting… wishing… wanting… Longing… ever to have you here. Another gift to fill our lives The reverence leads my heart to fear. I clearly see your angel face I hear your needful cry. I feel you fondly close to me And sense your will; this life to try. A tiny boy so small and new, Released from angels tight embrace. I know the joy you’ll bring us all, from Heaven’s sweet, and holy grace. Prayers are sent on moonbeams… They humbly plead the best for you. And still we wait to have you close We hold your love, the whole day through. I am a Registered Nurse.. I have loved writing for as far back as I can remember. My first writing was experienced by drawing as a child. In 7th grade I wrote a poem about Abraham Lincoln that won an award and was read on the radio in Salt Lake City....
