Looks

(Dusted another older one off.. enjoy! For new readers: My poems are mostly meant to be heard rather than read.) If looks could kill, She'd be a seriel murderer. And maybe you've heard of her. She's one of those "Slow time every time you see her across a room" girls. And she never noticed how many bullets her eyes shot through hearts, But I'm sure she'd be eager to find out. This poem is for that girl. This woman I speak of need not be accompanied by imagery, Because there's no way to describe how her legs went on for miles. And no words to tell about the breath she drew from men when she smiled. But I can probably give you a little bit of an idea. And if looks could kill, She'd be a plague. Until she finally subdued due to the cure that we made. She's one of those "Breeze blowing through her hair as cameras flash" girls. She never noticed how many bullets her eyes shot through hearts, Although I'm certain there had to be some casualties. This poem is for that girl. There were summers when you'd sit on a roof top and stare at the clouds. Incedently there were summers when guys would sit on the roof top and stare at you. But for someone who's suppose to be so damn beautiful, How could you be so shallow? And hollow out all the hearts of people who looked to you for friendship? See, I used to be one of those guys in her crosshairs, But I guess I lucked out when she missfired. Probably because i've been through this shit so many times, I'm tired. I've seen you be a tower, Then I've seen you tumble. there was something to be said about all you're power, when at the slightest flick you'd crumble. It doesn't matter what people say about your looks, When I'm looking at "you" inside, Because the tides only rise so high, And the camera's can only flash so bright. But what the hell are you going to do, When you run out of bullets. That's why I made this poem for you.
