Lose

Note: Commas indicate very slight pauses, not logical breaks. So near, so far, heart break, no more, please. Why can't, I let, go of, you now, still. So nice, so hard, to live, when you're, near. My breath, won't work, won't come, can't speak, now. Can't try, this time, cause I, messed it, up. No hope, but I, still just, can't let, go. Weak heart, half heart, cold heart, no heart, mine. Gave it, to you, I can't, get it, back. What would, I do, for you, do you, care? There's no, one that's, like you, do you, know? Life is, too short, for this, kind of, thing. Still I, wish there, was more, time with, you. Sweet dreams, bad dreams, Joy: king, Pain: queen, here. Night long, sleep short, eyes ache, but no, tears. If I, could cry, might I, feel less, pain? If I, tried I, still can't, help but, lose. Note: Most of my poems are written are written when I'm at my very lowest, so this isn't me all the time.
