Losing Blood
I'm drowning in my own blood In an ocean of fire That eats through my skin And burns through my soul Until I'm raw Open to the howling wind And the rain That falls like my tears Washing over me Cleansing me The salt stinging my open wounds For I am an open wound That I fear will never heal And the blood that pours from me Until I'm completely dried out Comes straight from my heart What used to be red and clean Is now black and polluted Because my innocence is lost And I cannot be found Ever Again
