Lost
all that's left is this small, paper cup wrinkled and torn like yesterday's news abating, like our disappointing start how could you leave me in the middle of a memory how could you stand there and lie, before my eyes had a chance to see I have come to the conclusion that I never healed, words wailing about like splatter and yet, it's frozen outside as life blows the wrong way upside down these tangled up emotions have no where to go fighting against a sad song from some broken radio in another part of her mind she managed a practiced smile, one learned from years of denial looking around, she knew it was over wanting to see just one last time, and then, it dawned on her this was never real she wondered if she could find her keys in the middle of this lonesome land where nothing seemed right, and it was far too quiet....
