Heya Everyone, hope your all doing great, thanks for all the comments, support and editing of my poems after-all that is how we learn. And I have decided for your sake(the readers)I will start editing my poems, I've just always hated it I mean a writer isn't a writer unless it's prefect the first time(someday). As for the rhythm of my poems it is meant to be erratic and off beat. I read my poems out loud in cafes and the beat works well with how I would read them. anyways thanks a lot for all the advice and so forth, I will use it all. My poems themselves well there and dark and there are happy(I am a bit bipolar :P), any who I am rambling so thanks again and I will make sure to seek out your writings and make comments for you. This poem is an older one so rhythm is not up to beat but I have had other people say they like it and I've always enjoyed myth(I had fetish for water was about another poem) click bang blond moment for me :D evening all p.s. msn messenger is always fun to play on, conversations can be found under my addy [email protected] another older one so it’s not top notch Lost Cities A golden kingdom hidden deep, The jungle is Eldorado's keep. A sunken city in the sea, Atlantis, where paradise can be. A garden, forgotten and misplaced, Eden from this world is erased. Forgotten Rome of world's past, What words were Ceasers last? Olympians mountain in the cloud, Greek gods and goddesses standing proud. Aztec cities hidden in the jungle, The sound of war beats rumble. Pharaoh's tomb in Egypt's sand, Lost to the hidden land. Mountain caves with cravings old, Native stories of heroes to be told. Ocean caverns filled with mysteries, Where treasure just might be. The Celts of rolling lands, Crusaders of holy hands. Tribes of tropic forest, Live by Voodoo crest. Knights round of a table, Live in King Arthur's fable. Nottingham and Robin Hood, His merry men deeding good. An Irish castle on hills of green, Home of mother nature, earthen queen. All legends known and told, From glorious times of old. -March 04 Sheena Allen
