Lost souls
How I wish I could live a plan Keep away from the lost souls And slip through the walls of my pain Troubled these lost thoughts That keep hovering my hankering soul. We both sat there watching in despair As our dreams and future got impaired Do you remember those winter days? When we fought like we never loved? That the world gave a single embarrassing gaze We spoke our way into trouble, we used anger Got gripped in the darkness of rant and rave I remember discussing our fury like passion and crave And what we once loved could not survive this wage of anger I can’t help this heart that keeps hunting for comfort I look at you for comfort to find you pose better But when I look, all I see is pain and grief right there in front Of your smile and beauty All I see is two lost souls searching a life that is lighter Who will show them a way to love, that be bounty? How I wish I could live a plan Keep away from the lost souls And slip through the walls of my pain Troubled these lost thoughts That keep hovering my hankering soul.
