(PREFACE:: Last time I touched on this poem, I woke up in the middle of the night, jotted a bunch of shit down, went back to sleep and haven't thought about it for 3 years. Something woke me up at 1am, with this running through my head. By no means done, but maybe 3 years from now my brain will come up with that perfect finish! Note: *** are parts I particularly hate. I can't quite figure what I want to say, but I know I need something there. ) Your intentions rendered into irrelevance whenever I see you smile Disregarding Common sense, I'll join your game tonight Seductive eyes draw me in, your touch leaves no escape Your fingertips across my skin, caress like razor blades The fire in your eyes mimicks mine Though the feelings are aren't the same*** My lips..your neck...a moment of pure passion Your hands...my hips...unadulterated perfection Wrap my legs around your waist and pull you into me I sigh. You smile. Sighing turns to screams* ***** Whispers in my ear, sweet words I can't remember All I know is, all I want is to stay right here forever. But.. Love is just a word to you. Promises only made for conversation **
