In the midday shadows awaits the unknown Henceforth coming weeping noises and loud groans Bitter red, both hands covered Dirty, unclean, stain-smothered Crystal clear, cries of pain fall A miond etched with images to appall Lips a pale pink, tightly squeezed in rememberance Legs worn out, tired weary, a suspect in the circumstance An astonishing beauty is what used to be But reflexes come involuntarily if closely you look, then closely you'll find a broken organ to which no cords bind Stolen maybe, given perhaps No one knows, no one understands At first sight, drawn were the eyes An unending gaze, which the eyes itself despised Left to starve it became ravenous, a predator on the hunt Aiming so far, hacking away with a knife, blunt The last ray of sun, gently swept away As we bid farewell to the shadows of the day Now we await, the mythical darkness of night No more of the days splendiferous light Awake you now, those who choose to remain To scared too lose thereforeimpossible to gain Yet still in that forsaken corner lies A weary soul with tear-stained eyes Crouched is thebody and shattered is the heart The painful cycle of trust again must start Was it worth the heartbreak, was it worth the try "Love... It was amazing while it lasted" came the reply
