LOVE'S EULOGY

Love’s Eulogy I closed the coffin tight when we last saw each other and I knew right then and there That there will never be another Never be another man to excite me like you could Never leave my heart exposed To be read just like a book How many times that Eulogy would play within my head How many times can God forsake a trusting soul as that? Don’t ever think for a minute That you didn’t ruin it for me That love deemed insignificant Could be played so recklessly If God can cleanse my heart of you and take away my pain than surely he’ll restore my trust so I can love again amen WordPlaya, January 12, 2010
