She’s the most beautiful thing That I’ve ever seen She’s a beauty queen She makes my hearts skip a beat The look on her pretty eyes The way she smiles She must have been sent from above To bring joy into my life, but… The thing is she’s Coloured She lives in a place called Bustard She resides with her mother and little brothers She’s a little bit above our standard, though Me and her together is forbidden It’s something that should never happen The restrictions of our culture and religion Forbidding the unity of two people It’s said love conquers all But can it break down this wall?
