lump of clay
I am hot and heavy an unsought lump of clay a barnacle on the hull of a ship dreaming of floating away I have no arms or legs for grip only intent, suckers, disguise from the prey a rock is a shard that is categorised aloud I am a girl that lives insufferably in the crowd the lights reach dim and after floats in orange where I live is nowhere I find courage in my forage you won't see me in your dreams I am fragmented in all realms stoop your lack of back, question your crown look up from your feet and follow theirs around we hold other people so hold yourself tighter glance in the mirror, take your last sight of her
