Lunacy.

Skin of lilies drenched in light, shines luminescent in the night. Waxen features as of snow bathed in Luna’s afterglow. Lips are parted, only just, as if she felt that she must for this once say one last thing before the darkness that will bring an end to all she’s worked hard for. As if she sensed there are no more prospects for mending our lost love. She being the cause thereof - Having gone to other’s arms and indulged in adulterous charms. In our last loving embrace she took a sip of wine that’s laced with poison equal to my dour love that has now turned quite sour. As she convulsed with anguished pain I taunted her with my refrain: “Skin of lilies drenched in light, shines luminescent in the night. Waxen features as of snow bathed in Luna’s afterglow.”
