Maggot Divine
All I am is what I buy into I either believe it or I don't Who knows what tips the scales? But, boy, oh boy, do they sell Women, cars, mansions and lots Now I'm this device of itself I bought into constant buying I can't take it beyond the grave But it sure serves my hedonism If there was something outside It would look on in amazement For I don't even know where I am The Milky Way is a galactic dot The gold fish is doing okay For it doesn't know what a tank is And the external must applaud us A life span is like a flower's Yet we apply the psychic effort To accumulate the useless garbage We decided to buy into long ago Having forgotten the reason why So lately I try to look up more I love getting lost in the clouds Staring at a dying sky at dusk I absorb those Monet colours Arranged uniquely for that day In the mind blank I see my means Such sweet sun sets make me wonder Who will take care of me when I leave When my carcass rots set in carrion The poor soul that gets the task May he or she be blessed forever Though nature would do it for free This is how I decided to love flies For their children will clean me The maggot is white for it is holy
