Maggot Therapy

·Braincloud

(Just a quick note: “Larva” in Latin means “Ghost”) Crack my heavy crown and place the larvae in, such rotting fertile ground to feed upon my sin. Let the ghosts devour the ghosts I keep inside, eat my very soul then crawl beneath my eyes. Blind me to the memories that appear in all I see, give me peaceful darkness to set my eyes free. Chew upon my tongue till words no longer shape, quiet this troubled voice then through my lips escape. Slide along my fatted cheek and slip into my ear, silence the wailing cries, leaving nothing left to hear. Then down my viscous gullet and to the darkest part, the maggot gala feast, an abscessed bleeding heart. Consume what little passion once held me to this place. Gnaw away my tired frame, leaving nothing to encase. And if by chance you remember I walked here by and by Think of me as food for thought before you swat that fly.
