Man in the moon, Thou art more lovely than a summers’ rose You loom over me as if it is I you chose. Inscribed in the heavens Bedazzling the shadows Like a glow in the dark Figuring out my endeavours. Man in the moon, You convey a language implicit Thou dare not leave me crestfallen But cling to me like a zephyr explicit And with your leading light Clasp me when I’m calling. Man in the moon, Thou art the pathway to delicate Destiny For Kismet, alone, is an enigma aloof. Indulge me in an eternity of faith Keep an eye on my every move And let me live through you. Man in the moon, Mirroring a reflection of indisputable beauty Grant me with courage and sincerity For your wisdom has engrossed me And your everlasting smile has equipped me for a journey to complete.
