Bring me the map that shows where youare! I'm despairing- I just can'tfind you! Lost without ever being found; such a scroll is priceless worth more than life itself to me, just toknow. Highly prized, elusive desire; show compassion, a guiding star! What was once a whim, now an overwhelming compulsion and what could not be- a melancholy dream. There's not one celestial body left I haven't wrung a wish from; caught every fallen leaf, blown every candle, held my breath and closed my eyes, waited... fingers crossed until twisted. One slender chance dissipated on the breeze-blown change of season. Forlorn regrets mingle with indistinguishable hope.
