May I sit and watch you for a while

22/01/2006 May I sit and watch you for a while I promise not to touch To neither move nor say much Just to let my ears hear the trickle of a fallen angel’s smile May I sit and watch you for a while? Perhaps I’ll catch a glimpse of your heart I promise not to crush To hold it gently and carress it much Just to let your heart feel safe again for I know it’s been torn apart Perhaps I’ll catch a glimpse of your heart If you feel it’s time for me to leave I promise to do such I’ll close the door softly, wizened by you much Just to know you have found your answers and once again in love believe If you feel it’s time for me to leave. Touched by your soul Warmed by your sight Caressed by your words Engulfed by your scent. What will be will be As it is meant.
