What is the meaning of a river? It has none, for it is an effect This does not mean it is nonsense Same goes for the meaning of life I am simply here as an effect The problem is that I am aware Of the fact that I am aware That I am aware that I am aware Do you see the conundrum I am in? How many levels deep can I go? The search for this is nonsense Saying something about level one And on the fact that I am here My location validates nothing I do not know where here is And everywhere is the same "I think, therefor I am" and "I am, therefor I think" Both are valid perspectives And both are totally useless I am looking for acceptance I have a certain way of thinking And I know what I am missing Is the way a woman thinks Existence is empty without you You elegantly compliment me It is the geometry of your flesh And by the grace of your movements I get to smile at these things I chase like trains of thought My search of you is not my doing But like a river flows, I must
