Memoirs of the invisible man
Your life of luxury gained By hook, crook, fortune or fame Your air coned existence Your arrogance of persistence My face pushed up against your car window Window of opportunity, windows of impunity You sneer as you pass me by At malls, robots and parking lots Your needs much greater than mine Fueled by greed, more cars, more wine My cupped hands at you directed Each time by you rejected Mr. “do you have some change to spare”? You’re eyes stare from your comfort chair. Or maybe, can I have your half eaten chicken wing? "Why don’t you people go get a job or something"? My life of invisibility, the forgotten endless race The invisible is you, now fallen from grace
