Memory Lane

Memory lane is a difficult road to travel This is where all the secrets got unraveled The ones you loved, and maybe got away But now all that remains is the yesterday You were so infatuated with Mary Jane But she left with the QB after the game I could have spent my life with Bobbie Sue But she fell in love with my best friend Lou. Then there was the red headed girl, Becky Jo She never told me that she was going to let me go. There were others who loved me, Leisha I suppose You would have to ask her, she's the only one that knows. The list goes on and on, with maybe several more There was some I loved and some that I adored Now as I ponder on these memories, it seems They are all part of my story or I guess my dreams. I try to forget these days and memories of yesteryears Because some bring laughter and some bring tears.
