Messenger

Have you found it, that place you've been searching for? Could you send down a messenger, with a letter in your handwriting? You can tell me all about the pretty little things you've seen, and all the people long gone. You can complain about the little things that make you go mad, open up your feelings and let’s try once again. I could go back, and with this thought in mind, I’ll face you and take your hand. I will be there whenever you needed me to, but this time I won't let go. Who have you been searching for? All that time, when everybody looked away, what was it you saw? If you could have taken a second, I would have given everything to you. I would have tried to replace that faraway wish you longed for. I would have been your guide even if I only knew how to get us lost, I’d follow you into the nightmares you couldn't face, I’d simply be there.
