·TheNightShift

Midnight, Moonlight Midnight, moonlight, alone in the black night A headless horseman is coming up the road Satan vying for your soul with all of his might Hell’s demons will spirit you off to their abode Night time creeping, oppression is sweeping A grey mist encompasses everything around The sorrowful sound of a young girl weeping Maniacal laughter around you does resound Blackness, lightless, grope around sightless Smell of rotting corpses, it permeates the air Fingers touching something cold and lifeless Stinking maggots crawling through your hair Blundering, wondering can not see anything Cold hand of death is placed upon your knee Mutations slithering, brushed by a bats wing Satan’s voice speaks to you, ‘come with me’ Morning light, nice sight, now you feel alright Dawn provides a refuge and keeps you sane You manage to make it through the long night But in a few hours the dark will come again....
