Midnight Ride
Driving home tonight I look at the moon Its mystical and gloom The beauty shocks me with belief The clouds mask it in relief As I drive I wonder Is he looking upon me Could he feel anger or sham for what ive become Or is it love and happiness for what ill be I ride around to find the truth A star twinkles in the sky It reminds me of a sparkle in my fathers eye Its burst of light last as long as he did Almost home it starts to rain Could this be his tears Is the thunder his cry of pain As I arrive home and sit and think The rain stops Is he wanting me to be happy Is he done weeping
