Missing you
Ever since you left that fateful day, This has been such a heavy price to pay, Daily you re-define the word MISS, You left without even a single kiss, I’m a traveler, that long and winding road, It gets worse with every passing day, My heart fails within me, my shoulders are broad, I’m in prison alone, sleeping in cold hay, I get spells of heart-attack, if only you were here, An impossible dream, only if you could hear, My blood stained shreds that use to be my cloth, My soul is weak, hungry, cold and stubborn, If only it could succumb to reality of wrath, That has become my share when I was born, Only for a breath you revealed your colours, So gentle, so full of grace, angel indeed, That cold windy winter stole those coulours, The sun rose with a cold frown indeed, My path lost eternally, I miss you.
