Missing You - February 1999

I wonder what we could have done to keep you here with us we didn't want your life to end but God said that it must He needed you for something that we couldn't understand we found it hard and hurtful but opened up our hands He took you up and begged us not to cry for you cause you were in a better place with others that you knew We sat and thought of times we had memories filled our hearts a feeling of warmth came over us we knew we weren't apart Lying in the hot hot sun or rolling in the snow barking at the neighbors dog through the kitchen window Pulling on her slippers you gave mom a laugh sleeping on her pillow while she was in the bath Even when you illness set you would not show sadness when we were down you'd bark and smile to remind us of our gladness We miss you terribly already no other dog could take your place when we feel sad and lonely we'll close our eyes and see your face ***in loving memory of our dog Willow In The Breeze*** *January 11, 1986 to February 8, 1999*
