missing you still

The first few times i met you conversation did'nt flow And we were little more than strangers when you saw me at my low You gave me your support and you gave your son to me Came with it unconditional love from your beautiful family The seasons were to change and i grew to know you well Marriages and children, heavenly times and hell Your loving spirit never wavered even at the end One of the best people i've ever known, my mother and my friend I miss you still my loved one and i think of you each day The pain of losing you with time has faded but will never go away We talk about you always, reminiscing of good times and bad I always talk about you to your grandchild even though i might feel sad I'll continue to tell her that you loved her and keep your memory alive She knows your watching over her and seeing how she thrives And when we gaze up at the stars at night, which we very often do We know the brightest star that's up there most defintely is you this is a tribute to my mom in law who passed away suddenly last year she was one of the most special people i have ever known and i miss her alot
