But we knew that from the very start for we developed it ourselves into the highest form of art. * While your stocks crashed we played run and dash with our big leather briefcases lined with your cash * but we were back again When the smoke had cleared, ready for business in a brand new year with injected capital to do it again From Nancy Pelosi and Barney Frank * an open invitation to continue our looting, financed involuntarily through the taxes of our victims, the quiet and unassuming incognizant citizens * But we might not be able to do it again Those victims no longer have any jobs No jobs = no taxes means we'll be going out of business but don't cry for us, we took care of our own we'll live out our lives like some God-Damn King In some third world Island nation where we stashed our cash for what's now becoming the inevitable crash * A permanent vacation. Where we'll escape the droves of the poor the unfortunate mainland unemployed * WordPlaya, April 22, 2009 * I know most of you don't like political poetry. But I feel so angry I just have to tell the story and write the writeous write. You see my husband is going to be loosing his job in August. They are closing down all the North American operations where he works and moving all the manufacturing orders they have left to Mexico, where the labor is much cheaper. We looked over our assets we have left in our 401K's and we were shocked. I am just so angry I am seething. Oh yeah, good luck trying to find a job, any job in this climate. I now wonder what is going to happen to us, as we also have adult children depending on us who are also out of work. * LOL, I always said "there for but the grace of God go I" when I saw people with a sign "will work for food." My family will need the grace of God right now to get through this. Writing this was therapeutic for me. * Thank you for reading!
