Months in time

·Alathaea

January's round again, Stifled in mid-morning snow, And bright skies in cold's grip, Is all I ever know, February's stolen frost, The sun it does erode, And broken hopes amid ones afloat, Are all I can decode, March is in with growing Spring, And flowers get high on light, While all around the resolutions, Are losing the impossible fight, April rain comes with pain, At limbo stuck in gushing sky, And the people of the improvement land, Are losing a sense of I, Without recognition is broken May, Whilst we're all loving happy June, Look ahead to sun my dears, Indulge in howls at May full moon, July we have in brinkst of summer, Happiness broken through like acne, I sit back and enjoy time, Before Autumn comes running at me, August on the edge of death, The summer month in Autumns grip, It straddles on the great divide, On termtimes graying lip, September means back to school, And pulled away from so much fun, Algebra and English tests, This essay; that sum, October is witches month, Leaves off trees and cast in curses, And deathly night rapidly approaches, Approached by winters gaunt wet nurses, November in endless war, Guy Fawkes through the seasons strife Flames atop a bonfire night, Are brought to zealous pious life, December brings a final stop, To the endless street of one more year, And January is here again, Too far and yet too near. (I'm so depressing. XD)
