Steam rising from a cup Filled close to the brim Set the fragrant bag afloat And watch as dark tendrils creep from their origin Reaching and exploring the water Like aliens climbing from the mothership Soon the steaming liquid has an opacity That warms my very soul The sweet tang on the air heightens the Anticipation As I wait for my tea to steep
