Mortal Insanity

·Mather

Entombed in a stony crypt The cold damp walls drip And as I lay dying on the rough floor I think of the tortures I have endured For it was prophesized that a catastrophe of apocalyptic proportions would occur and that the world we know would be transformed into a cesspool of death and destruction The flames of hell surround you As your soul burns to nothing Your body slowly dies And you become merely skin and bone The demons of your nightmares Laugh madly at you And as your mind slowly decays You become completely insane You are delusional And you see things that aren’t really there Death creeps slowly up And pounces on you, the un-expecting victim Your body becomes more of a mutilated corpse A mere shadow of your former self And deep in the dank catacombs of hell Eternity embraces you And you become a member of the walking Un-dead
