Mute Masters

Invisible to the human eye we have a bond so deep under the surface of the oceans of insomnia that I'm drowning in that I can barely sleep instead of communicating with words in the language of our native tongues we've mastered the art of mute language opportunity knocked and we willingly took the plunge with the needles of our eyes we poke through the scabs of the gashes of our wounds that have been bruising and breaking us dissolving us into puddles that ooze of our needs to be loved and accepted but that road has been blocked off with a dead end ditch so we have no choice but to use our transmitters to send mute signals to each other's hearts because that is the only way that we can hear each other it's as if we are holding each other's hands in mutual feelings of self hatred and worldwide discrimination so to forget about our troubles we happily glide across the crescent of the moon to shed some light on our spirits suffocating to unlock the coffins enclosed around our souls by breathing oxygen into the pores of our skin ridding us of the poison that is disintegrating our organs into ashes as a result of the pain inflicted on us by our surroundings that surround us in their innocent looking despicable human forms yet underneath they carry a vast array of lethal weaponry ready to unleash the bullets and pierce our flesh 'cause they can't accept the truth because the truth hurts which is why they have to hurt others to make themselves feel better but with yours and my powers combined we will break the silence that is in the air and allow our voices to escape the tunnels of imprisonment By Glenn McCrary © 2010 Glenn McCrary (All rights reserved)
