Muted Bible
Your compliments, your comments They do nothing for me. Your advice, your help I do not need. I’m fine by myself, I don’t need your words. Don’t care what you think, what you say, what you’ve heard about me. I’m not here for you. I’m a solo solider, single person in line. My thoughts are my own. Stay out of my mind. Myself, I can heal. My problems I can deal. You can say you love me, that won’t reel me in. I’ve been there before, I won’t go again. You can comfort yourself and claim that you’re close. You think you know me but just like most what you see is camouflage, deception and deceit. The one who knows me lies under your feet. Buried with her are all the secrets of me, a holy bible that you’ll never see.
