My boat song
The shadow mournfully followed In the wake of my farewell, Did I not love you enough Were my words not true? The eternal knot undid itself And all the things you meant to me Flew away in clouds of doubt And the chill of mounting indifference. I dreamed of you, Our world colourful, A sacred isle of wonder, This place of love I called my land.
